AA - Minor Midget - Minor Midget AA Gryphons Bring Home Silver!
Submitted By aweiler on Friday, November 02, 2018
The Minor Midget AA Gryphons travelled to Lake Placid this past weekend for the Can/am Challenge cup.  The tournament got off to a early morning start with a loss to Boston.  But they rallied back with their Gryphon spirit, great team play and awesome goal tending to shut out the next  three oponents 3-0, 5-0, 3-0.  This meant a re-match with Boston in the Gold medal game.

After a 0-0 score going into the third period, the Gryphons were first on the scoreboard, but a few lucky bounces put Boston ahead and the game ended with a final score of 3-1 for Boston.  Congratulations to our Gryphons coming home with the silver medal!   Way to go boys!   A great team effort and awesome weekend in NY!  “Roomer's” has it, the parents think this is one of the best tournaments!
