Novice AE Gryphons Finalists in Bradford Blue & Gold Classic
The Novice AE Gryphons are certainly a team to get excited about!

The team headed to the Bradford Bulldogs Blue & Gold Classic over the weekend, and with team work, a willingness to learn, and some incredible passing, they found themselves in the tournament Championship Game for the second time in a row!

The Gryphons faced the Dundas Blues, TNT Tornadoes and Peterborough Petes in the round robin. All opponents gave the team a good run, with Dundas taking the first game, Guelph overtaking TNT in the second, and the Petes offering up a tie in the third. Ultimately the Gryphons found their way past Peterborough in the semi-finals with intensity in both their offense and defense.

The Championship Game was against the TNT Tornadoes, a repeat of our tournament in September. The Gryphons were excited to face a great team yet again. They played hard, they passed the puck, and the goalies made some amazing saves. In the end TNT Tornadoes came out on top, but the Gryphons were very pleased to have placed as Finalists in the tournament.

The Novice AE Gryphons continue to work hard each and every practice, game, and shift.Their hard work is paying off both in the regular season and at tournaments, and it is exciting to see. Congratulations Novice AE Gryphons!
