Championship Sunday
2 great games concluded the Novice season of 2015-16.
In the Consolation game, the Tigers and Blackhawks both played very well and hard in an evenly-matched game. Blackhawks scored 2 in the last shift to clinch the win, 5-2.
In the Championship game, the Storm and Pirates played an incredibly close and exciting game. Tied at 3 after regulation (after both teams had many close chances to win), the teams battled through 3 OT rounds: 4 on 4, 3 on 3, and 2 on 2. Still tied after that, a 3-player shootout couldn't produce a winner. In the 5th round of shootout, Storm prevailed in front of a large, loud, and excited crowd.
