Black Gets Gold in Harriston
Team #8 travelled to Harriston on Feb. 9th to play in the Minto Minor Bantam House League tournament. The boys won over Kincardine 5-4 then beat Walkerton 2-0 which moved them into the finals. The championship game was a nail biter but the team ended up beating CW34 by a score of 4-3.
Congratulations go to the coaching staff of Dave, Murray and Abe and the team: Clayton, Jesse, Jack D, Simon, Josh, Jack S, Jack M, Zach S, Solomon, Wes, Mitch, Zach T, Greg and Cam. Thanks to all the parents for making the drive and for surviving 3 games in subzero temperatures in an arena with no heaters.
