Midget HL Team #1 Champs in Niagara
The Guelph Midget HL Team #1 attended the
Al Boone Memorial HL Tournament on the weekend of Dec. 28-30. The boys
played teams from Grimsby, Mississauga, and Niagara Falls in round Robin play,
and finished at the top of their division, with a 3-0 record. They faced
Ancaster in the Semi-Finals, winning 6-1, and East Gwillimbury in the Finals,
winning 4-1. The team played very well, tallying 27 goals for and only
allowing 4 goals in 5 games.
