Novice A Gryphons Win Orillia Jim Wilson Winter Classic
The Novice A Gryphons took part in the Jim Wilson Winter Classic Tournament from November 8th-10th in Orillia. The Gryphon team fought hard through the preliminary round finishing up with a 1-1-1 record. As a result of a tiebreaker win the Novice A team faced the only team to defeat them in the round robin in the final on Sunday afternoon. The Gryphon team played their best game of the tournament and after battling back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits they scored the go ahead goal with 2 minutes left in the third period and held on for the win!
