Guelph Jr Gryphons Minor Atom AAA team brings pride to the Nation!
The Jr Gryphons set out to Lansing, Michigan this past weekend.
Day 1 they played at Munn Arena the home of Michigan State Spartans defeating Belle Tire North 3-2. Next match saw the Jr Gryphons defeat Birmingham Rangers 4-3.
Day 2, Saturday, the Jr Gryphs came out flat and lost 4-1 to Rochester Honeybaked. Final game of round robin play saw the Jr Gryphs beat up on Cleveland Barons 5-2. Advancing to the finale, Sundays game was a 4 point match. Your Jr. Gryphs shorthanded a few players pulled together and played a team game and handed Hamburg Hawks a 5-2 defeat. Giving the Jr. Gryphs and Canada a 17 - 4 point advantage and taking home the Nations Cup!!!! Way to go Jr. Gryphons!!What a great way for the Jr Gryphs to represent Canada.
