Minor Bantam AE Advances to Tri-County Finals
The Guelph Gryphons Minor Bantam AE team advanced to the Tri-County finals by defeating the Halton Hills Thunder 1-0 on Wednesday night.
Guelph and Burlington were tied for 1st place in the division going into tonight's games. It was a must win for both teams.
Burlington faced the Oakville Rangers and lost a hard fought battle 2-1 giving Guelph the outright division title.
Although the other division still has games to play, it appears the Orangeville Flyers will advance to face Guelph in the Tri-County finals.
The schedule has been set with Guelph travelling to Orangeville on Monday March 17th for 8:00 PM start. Guelph will host Orangeville on Thursday March 20th
