Team 3
As you may have noticed there is no hockey the weekend of Feb 1 & 2 as there is a big ringette tournament in town that weekend. Just for fun, I have rented the ice in Aberfoyle (Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre). I was thinking we could have a Minor Atom Winter Classic.
The arena is Aberfoyle has a roof, but it is basically like playing outdoors. I was hoping we could get enough kids for a 4 on 4 game, I think the kids would really enjoy it. I believe the Select team is away that weekend so I am hoping to get a good turnout from the rest of the team.
They had an open spot at 10AM on Saturday, February 1st. Cost is $180 for the hour so if we can get a good number of kids out the cost would be about $10-$15 per child.
