The Guelph Gryphon Minor Atom Selects prevailed in an entertaining game at Victoria arena on Thursday evening, with the home side winning 6 to 4 against a never quit Cambridge squad. After jumping out to a 6-0 lead the Gryphons seemed to tire late in the game allowing Cambridge to get back into it. But in the end, the Gryphons team play, hard work and backchecking was too much for Cambridge to overcome.  
Leading the way for the Gryphons was Riley Broderick with 3 goals; Nathan Stam, Seamus Herron and Aydan McNaughton also scored for the home side; while Carson Ross contributed from the backend with 2 assists. June McCormick and Jarret Coady shared net duties and made plenty of beautiful saves to keep the Gryphons in the game. Great game team!
