The minor atom AAA Gryphs traveled down the QEW again Saturday to play the Southern Tier Admirals in SCTA action. The boys suffered their first league loss of the 2016-17 season falling 8-1 to the aggressive hometown squad. Goal scorer for the Gryphs was Landon Mitchell at 7:10 of the third period. Kurtis Abbey was busy and played well in the pipes for the Gryphons stopping several quality shots from the Admirals players.
