MINOR MIDGET AA WIN MARCH MELTDOWN
The Minor Midget AA attended the Avalanche March Meltdown for their end of season tournament.
The team went undefeated in the tournament and only giving up ONE goal in the six games.
The team went undefeated in the round robins beating Toronto Royals 7-0, Toronto Aeros 4-0, Ice Warriors 1-0 and then beating the host team Toronto Avalanche 1-0. The team then played Georgina Blaze in the semi finals and won 4-1, thus giving up the first goal in the tournament.
The team then went onto the finals vs Root River Rangers. It was a very close game but the team scored first and never gave up a goal- winning the game 1-0.
The weekend was a great success and a great way to end the season. Way to go boys !!!!!
