Nicco S scored twice while Luca R and Sawyer S
added singles as the Tyke A Jr. Gryphons capped their Tri County schedule with
a 4 – 2 win over the Orangeville Flyers.
The win was a total team effort as many Gryphons made significant contributions. Tyson D and Lucas S demonstrated great speed and skill while Evan P played a rugged game on the wing. Alex C and Greg F buzzed the Flyer net all night and Nathan M and Wyatt M were tough to beat on defence.
With the win, the Tyke A Gryphons improved their playoff record to 9 – 5 – 2, clinching a third place finish in Tri County’s Tyke 1 division. This is an amazing accomplishment that these Gryphons should be very proud of.
