Atom AE Upset 1st Place Thunder
Submitted By Bruce Schlitt on Thursday, November 01, 2018
The Guelph Gryphons Atom AE hosted the undefeated Halton Hills Thunder on Thursday night in Tri County Harrison division action.   The Gryphs used a five goal third period to propel them to an 8-0 victory.   The score was not quite indicative of the game as Gryphon goaltender Fraser Litchfield made several big saves to keep Halton Hills off the scoreboard in the early stages off the game when Halton Hills pressured Guelph.

Guelph also received a boost from an inspirational pregame speech from sponsor Tony Grousso who dropped in to wish the boys good luck.

Guelph (11-1-1) return to action on Saturday when they travel to St. Jacobs to battle the Woolwich Wildcats.
