Minor PeeWee AE Punch Their Ticket Through To The Tri-County Championships!
Congratulations to the Gryphons Minor PeeWee AE team who will be moving onto the Tri-County Championships.
Completing round robin play 5-0-1, the Gryphons found themselves in a one game showdown vs the Caledon Hawks in what would prove to be a hard fought game. A 3-3 tie midway through the third period motivated the players to battle hard and push through to the finish, seeing the Gryphons come out on top with a 5-3 finish and shutting down the Hawks in the remaining minutes of the game with great positional play and not allowing the Hawks the opportunity to get up ice into our zone.
The team is very enthusiastic and eager to be moving onto the Tri-County Championships where they will face the Halton Hills Thunder. Congrats!!
