Not sure what to do next with your life? Well, here is
a tip for coming up with some options that you can use at any time. It’s
especially great when milestones are approaching. Maybe
you’re considering a new path – work, athletics, or education. Maybe you’re
nearing a milestone birthday, or a big decision that could shape the next 5
years of your life! You could be moving to another part of the country or
maybe even the other side of the world. Perhaps something is going on that has
you asking yourself ‘what would I like to have happen in this next stage of my
life?’
Here’s a simple way to get some new ideas for goals to set in your life. Ask 3-5 of your friends, family members, teammates or people you trust the following question: “You and I meet up in two years. I tell you that I have achieved 3 big goals. What do you hope I tell you?” There is a strong chance that you might be inspired, and perhaps even a little shocked by their responses!
