Bantam A Gryphons Win the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Tournament Series Cup

The team traveled to South Bend, Indiana to participate the Fighting Irish Tournament Series at the famed Notre Dame University. The team went undefeated the entire weekend, going 4-0. An amazing 24 goals-for and only 7 goals-against. It was clear, the boys came to the tournament with a purpose, to win gold! In Preliminary play the Team had its most difficult game against West Seneca and battled to a 4-3 win staying undefeated. Facing West Seneca in the rematch to take home gold, we witness some inspired play by our young Gryphon's who controlled the entire game to come away with 6-0 victory to hoist the cup!
After the championship game, West Seneca's Head coach complemented on how hard you played with: "Wow your boys came to play we didn't stand a chance today" Tournament Director commented "you have a great team and it was a pleasure to watch them this weekend" Even the refs complemented your efforts this weekend!!!
Be very proud of your accomplishments and proud of how you represented yourselves and the team on and off the ice this weekend....you PLAYED LIKE CHAMPIONS!
