The boys were able to hold strong for the first 30 minutes of play with a stellar outing by Huang to back them up. The wheels fell off for the third, we only registered a single shot for the first 10 minutes of play as New Hamburg took it to us all over the ice. The extra long game time was evident in our boys ability to manage the cardio needed to push thru the final period.
Tough loss but a life lesson in adversity will do the team well as we move to our tournament. One thing is for certain, these boys hate to lose.
