As we head into our first tournament, here's a brief look back at the ultimate tournament competition - the Olympics. Specifically, the 2002 Olympics in Utah, USA and the Gold Medal hockey games. Both games featured rivals Canada vs the home team, USA.
The Men's team had a great tourney after the first game, and a great Gold Medal game.

The Women's team also had a great tourney. Women's hockey has been a very tight battle between Canada and USA, with typically no other teams being close to their level. With exaggerating, the Canadian Women's team's performance in that game is the greatest team performance - and under difficult circumstances - that I've ever witnessed.
Playing their rivals on their home ice, with an American referee and questionable calls, the women played incredible penalty kill hockey. My point is not about the refereeing (I'm not a fan of the title of the video but it was the best video about the game I could find), but about the team overcoming adversity:
