The Guelph Minor Hockey Association and PowerPlay committee would like to welcome everyone to the 53rd annual hockey weekend event where we host teams and participants from all over. November 20th to 22nd this will be our 54th PowerPlay tournament across the city of Guelph.
Looking for an adrenaline-packed, action-filled youth hockey tournament? Look no further than the Guelph PowerPlay! Our tournament promises an experience for young hockey enthusiasts, combining competitive play with an electrifying atmosphere. Our tournament committee pride itself in the planning to provide the very best weekend experience with facilities that our dedicated to supporting our tournament during the weekend and an on time schedule that guarantee teams a seamless and thrilling competition from start to finish.
Beyond the thrill of the game our tournament offers a well rounded experience for everyone we ensure that everyone involved enjoy a memorable weekend of hockey action and fun as team play against some to of top teams at their age group.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MAY 1st, 2026
Tournament Start Times - Until the tournament registration is closed and the schedule has been published it's difficult to determine the exact start time at each arena and Division. Teams are asked to plan ahead and be prepared to play early in the morning on all 3 days. We traditionally start the tournament early on Friday giving teams the opportunity to have a team event at night, be prepared to start at 8:00am Friday, 7:00am Saturday. Sunday semi-finals start at 8:00am.
