Rogers Hometown Hockey
As you may have heard, Rogers Hometown Hockey will be coming to Guelph on April 1st and 2nd.  The following is a summary of activities, volunteer opportunities and PAID positions.  GMHA will be an active participant in the weekend events and is calling on ALL our teams to come out and show your love for the game.

MINOR HOCKEY INVOLVEMENT 

SCOTIABANK  is looking for 10 players (aged 7 - 9) to be involved on a sweater reveal.  The exact date is not yet available but it will most likely be on the evening of April 2nd.  Scotia will be using 10 of our players and 10 from GGHA.  Provide your child's name and contact information to Tracey Corbeil if interested -  [email protected]


ALL STARS PROGRAM: 

We want to recognize all the hard work that comes along with being a hockey player. The All Star Program provides an opportunity for approximately 5 local Minor Hockey Teams to receive exclusive access to some of the festival activities and a pizza party! We will work with you to confirm how the teams will be selected based on their schedules.  Provide your team name and contact information to Tracey Corbeil if interested -  [email protected]

Finalists invited to perform cheer on festival weekend to perform in front of a panel of judges
Winning team wins ultimate hockey experience including a Stanley Cup Playoff Viewing Party with a NHL Alumni

Deadline to submit cheers for Guelph will be Monday March 27th at 11:59PM

Show your best hockey trick shot in front of a panel of judges

- Winners from each region are invited to join the finals during the final stop in Hamilton April 8+9

In continual support of fundraising for Minor Hockey, we provide the opportunity for one or several local teams to assist with the up keep of the garbage and recycling on site.

A $500 honorarium would be provided to the 
team(s) for their assistance!


All equipment will be provided and teams are welcome to wear their jerseys to help represent their team.

If your team is interested in operating food & beverage, please send the team name and contact to Stacey Dunnigan by March 13.

Teams will be chosen by picking a random name from the teams submitted.
