Dec 29 - Parents and Players
Good day parents. We are looking to cancel the Dec 28th practice and instead, Team 3 will have the full ice on Dec 29th. This will be confirmed.
It has come to my attention that we will have little team practice time until the end of January. Kelly Shock is scheduled in twice, and we are off on the weekend of Jan 4, 5. Please keep your kids skating, at the very least. It is my understanding that community outdoor rinks are popping up everywhere in the city. Please get to the kids to use the free resources to continue to work on the most important part of skill development, skating. The downtown rink is free and the Aberfoyle Community Center has free skates after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Goalie parents be warned, Kelly Shock wants the goalies to participate in the remaining power skating classes. Goalies need to be the best skaters on the ice, so it only makes sense.
Picture retake day is scheduled for January 26th, 2014. Times have yet to be announced, but please mark the date on the calendar. Pics will require the boys and girls to wear black pants, a mock neck turtleneck, with the team jersey over top. Players need to bring their gloves and a stick to the venue where the pictures will be taken.
