Minor Atom A Comes Up with a Big Win in Burlington
The Gryphons were ON last night during their road trip to Burlington! Madden had a monster showing in net worthy of the cheers that greeted him in the lobby after the game! His D-men were golden in their support. Scoring for the Gryphons started a little after a minute into the game when Smith fed a lovely pass to Robertson who buried it. Moving late into the 2nd we saw Southern rush the puck (from Kranendonk, Dubuc) & beat the goalie to tie it at 2. Gryphons came up big in the 3rd starting with Smith chipping one in (from Robertson, Redford) followed by Lodder making a perfect pass onto the stick of Georges who shot it cross-net & scored. Finally, on a 2-man advantage, Smith made another awesome pass finding the stick of Robertson who scored his 2nd of the night. Final score 5-3!
