GMHA Coach Selection Committee (CSC) is now accepting Coaching Applications for the 2018-19 Season

Potential coaches, GMHA is now accepting Coach applications for the 2018-2019 rep season.  Applications will be accepted until midnight on December 30th.

Applications submitted after December 30, 2017 will be considered only by availability of positions remaining. Emailed applications will not be accepted.


Please fill out the entire application online at the link below. Questions with an asterisk are mandatory.  Please have your One page Coaching Philosophy/resume and an age appropriate 50 min practice plan, ready in either word or pdf format, as the form will request you to attach them. You will receive an email back once submitted as verification that the application has been received.  


Not all applicants may receive an interview from the CSC.  By submitting the application you accept the decision of the CSC as final.  The CSC is a professional group of individuals coming from sports, hockey and HR backgrounds.  They are nonpartisan, non board members and are not GMHA employees.


The CSC committee with be taking the following criteria into account; Eligibility based on our Rules of Operation, Parent Survey results, commitment to our Development Plan including adherence to our Fair Ice Time Policy, Attendance at mandatory functions, and record.


The CSC will email successful candidates for an interview request.  The AAA candidates will be notified first.  AAA interviews and CSC motions to the board will completed by the end of January at the latest.  The CSC will then concentrate on Divisions eg Peewee from AE to AA.  Timing for the balance of the teams should be completed before the end of February. 


Teams where applications are being accepted and may be represented, depending on tryout registration in the spring for the Rep program next year are:

Novice AE, A, AA

Minor Atom, Atom, Minor Peewee, Peewee, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Minor Midget AE, A, AA, AAA

Midget AE (or A) AA, AAA (depending on interest)
