UofG - Jr Gryphon Hockey Development Program:
Hello Hockey Families!

We are thrilled to announce that the University of Guelph, Department of Athletics will be offering a Hockey skill development program, instructed by our Men’s and Women’s Varsity Coaches.

Rachel Flanagan - Head Coach Womens Varsity Team

Katie Mora - Associate Coach Womens Varsity Team

Shawn Camp - Head Coach Mens Varsity Hockey Team

Justin Stevens - Associate Coach Mens Varsity Team

This program is designed to enhance the individual skill tactics that are most important in hockey player development. Goalies are encouraged to participate by registering within the specific ‘Goalie’ Hockey Skills Development Program, however specific goaltending instruction will not be provided. Players will receive detailed instruction on skating, puck control, and shooting, while also being taught how to apply each skill to game situations. Drills are designed to both teach and challenge each player, instilling motivation to take their game to the next level.

The possible ice times for each age group are indicated during the registration process. Each participant will receive confirmation of their specific ice time 24 hrs prior to the start date. This program includes one on-ice session per week for a total of 4 weeks.

Please note that individuals that reside in provincially designated Grey - Lockdown Zones are not eligible for the program. We are supporting the public health office in your region and the public health of all Ontarians through this decision. Your cooperation is appreciated!

Cost: $150

Specific program details will be viewable only as of Sat Feb 6, 2021 @ 7am by clicking herehttp://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/uofg/Activity_Search/16023

Reminder that there are different activity registrations for goalies and players of each age group. Please read carefully.

Registration is planned to open Thu Feb 11th @ 7am provided the Province Wide Shutdown ends on Feb 10th.
