This morning a number of the GMHA Board Members attended a call with representatives at the city of Guelph.
We were told that Rink 1 at the West End Community Centre has been designated a Vaccination Centre in line with the requirements of the Province and the Public Health Unit.
The ice will be removed at the end of scheduled sessions on Monday, 8th March. Rink 2 will remain in operation.
We are currently communicating internally, and with the city, to reschedule the impacted sessions. However, you should be aware that dates and times are likely to change as availability at other rinks is limited, and there are numerous organizations impacted by this.
This is a very fluid situation and we are working diligently to try and ensure that all players get the full suite of sessions we had anticipated. Please watch this space for further updates.
