GMHA's Growth Mindset Challenge
#GMHAGrowthMindset

GMHA Families,

While indoor sports are temporarily shut down, we encourage all our players to adopt a “growth mindset” and look for ways to continue to improve.

What is a Growth Mindset?

Individuals who believe that their talents and abilities can be developed (through hard work and practice) are said to have a "growth mindset". The key to achieving your goals is consistent commitment to practice and improvement over time.

GMHA recently held a webinar on the concept of a Growth Mindset and how it can be fostered by players and parents.

Visit https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_JarZmJ8tQJ25v2bBbYP_kg to register and watch the recorded session.

Show your commitment to continual improvement and win prizes!

Share your Growth Mindset with others on social media and get entered into prize drawings.

The University of Guelph is proud to support players who demonstrate a #GrowthMindset.

Players who post a photo or video of themselves or teammates while they train, or practice will be entered into a prize drawing sponsored by the U of G.

To be eligible to win…

1)      Take photos and videos while you take shots, skate, work out, or spend time working hard to develop your skills and abilities. Be creative and find ways to show how you are working to improve despite the current challenges.

2)      Post your photos and videos to social media with the hashtag #GMHAGrowthMindset and tag:

a.       Instagram - @gmha_jrgryphonhockey & @guelphjrgryphons

b.       Twitter - @GuelphMinHockey & @guelph_gryphons

c.       Facebook - @GuelphMinorHockey & @uofguelph

Every day that a player posts, will qualify them for an entry into a draw to win gift cards and prizes provided by the University of Guelph! So…work hard, share your efforts, and earn a new entry each day you post.
