Registration Timeline
Early bird pricing (below) is available until April 10th.
After April 10th a $40 late fee will apply.
The final registration deadline for U14 - U16 tryouts is April 17th.
Rep Tryout Passes
Rep hockey tryouts follow a sequential release process in which teams are selected by level, starting at AAA and continuing through AA, A and BB (formerly AE).
As in the past, there are 2 different tryout passes available. Players should purchase a Rep Tryout Pass based on the stage at which they would like to enter the tryout process:
AAA Tryout Pass ($80) – Players enter tryouts at the AAA level.
AA Tryout Pass ($60) – Players enter tryouts at the AA level.

Payments
You can follow the link above to open the registration form. When it comes to payment, there are 2 options:
1.Upon completion of the form, you will be prompted to pay by credit card through an online portal.
2.Upon completion of the form, you can close the form and complete your payment by sending an e-transfer to [email protected]
Tryout Start Dates
The 2022-23 Spring Tryout Schedule will be posted when available. Dates and times are subject to change, so be sure to confirm your player's schedule each day prior to heading to the rink.
AAA Start Date: April 25, 2022
AA Start Date: May 2, 2022
A Start Date: May 9, 2022
BB (formerly AE) Start Date: May 16, 2022
Note: The ‘AE’ level designation has recently been changed to ‘BB’ in order to resolve confusion across regions. There is no change to the structure of these teams or leagues. It is simply a change in the letters used to refer to the level.
Non-Guelph Residents and F1 Waiver / PTS / NRP Players
If you reside outside of Guelph, please note that in order to be eligible to attend tryouts in Guelph as a non-Guelph resident you must provide the proper documentation ahead of time.
AAA Level
· Players from other OMHA Centres require a Permission to Skate Form from their home association.
· Players from non-OMHA Centres require an F1 Waiver from their home AAA Zone for Centres adjacent to Guelph. Review the OHF F1 Waiver process for the specifics of what you may require.
AA Level
· Players from other OMHA Centres that do now offer a AA program must provide a Non-Resident Player Form from their home association.
Tryout Guidelines and Protocols
GMHA’s full set of guidelines and protocols for tryouts will be posted shortly. More details will be made available regarding tryout policies, processes, facility protocols, etc. in the coming weeks. Please check back here as tryouts approach.
Summer/Fall Tryouts:
For the 2022-2023 season, only the U14 through U16 age groups will be holding tryouts in the spring. Other age groups and programs hold tryouts and evaluation skates in the fall.
Fall Representative Tryouts
U8 & U9 ADP
Preparation and Evaluation Skates will begin after Labour Day (more details to come).
U10 & U11 AAA – BB
Preparation Skates and Tryouts will begin after Labour Day (more details to come).
U12 & U13 AAA – BB
Tryouts will begin after Labour Day (more details to come).
U18 AAA – A
Tryouts will begin after Labour Day. Some initial skates and evaluations may take place in April / May. More details to come shortly.
Select Team Tryouts
Tryouts will begin in October. More details to come in September.
All players interested in playing Select must be registered for House League and paid in full. Select Tryout Fees are approximately $25. Players who purchased a Rep Tryout Pass will not be charged for Select Tryouts.
