News Release: New Official Jersey and Apparel Supplier for the 2023/2024 Season
GUELPH, ONTARIO – Guelph Minor Hockey Association (GMHA) would like to announce that after a thorough review process the GMHA board has selected All Team Sports Inc. (Cambridge, ON) to be its new official jersey and apparel supplier starting in the 2023/2024 season for an initial period of five years.
Pursuant to the GMHA procurement policy a request for proposal process was followed. A total of six
approved vendors were invited to submit a proposal to GMHA. Of the six invited vendors, GMHA
received three proposals for evaluation. Each proposal was then thoroughly and objectively reviewed
based on a defined set of criteria and metrics including product quality, delivery timeframe, ordering
process, delivery process, customer service, and pricing. Each of these criteria were weighted based on
their importance. Each of the proposals were evaluated by a sub-committee of board members who
then made a recommendation to the entire board.
The proposal from All Team Sports Inc. was the highest rated proposal that was submitted and met all
the requirements for the proposal while ensuring pricing stability for the next three years. All Team
Sports supplies jerseys and apparel for several local hockey associations including the Guelph Girls
Hockey Association, Cambridge Minor Hockey Association, Ayr Minor Hockey Association, etc..
As part of the new agreement all representative players will purchase new jerseys online through the All Team Sports website only when needed. For next year only, each representative player will purchase new jerseys as we transition to the new supplier. Going forward past next year, representative players will only need to purchase new jerseys when required allowing parents the opportunity to use the same jersey over multiple years. Benefits to this model of purchasing include parents having full control over the size of the jersey they purchase and the potential for cost savings as new jerseys are not required each year. This follows GMHA’s effort to improve turn around time, reduce costs, and increase convenience for our members.
The GMHA board is confident that All Team Sports will meet the needs of our association and we look
forward to working with them for the next few seasons.
