U8 (SD3) & U9 ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ADP) VOLUNTEERS
Please note for U8 (SD3) & U9 Advanced Development Program (ADP) volunteers, there is a separate process to apply to volunteer. Please review the U8 and U9 ADP Evaluation details under the “Tryout” tab on the GMHA website.
SELECT COACHES APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN - U10-U16
We are now opening up the submission process for Select Head Coach Applications for our 2023-24 Select teams.
The following Select Teams* are being planned for the 2023-24 Season

*Please note, that while our objective is to supply the above house league age groups with the opportunity to engage in additional on-ice competition through the Select program, this availability is subject to having enough players to safely create and facilitate those teams. The decision to move forward with Select teams will be at the discretion of the House League Director and members of the Guelph Minor Hockey Association board.

The GMHA is undertaking an assessment of its current operations and programming to develop a strategy that will guide the organization over the next few years. As part of the process, members are invited to participate in a survey to share their feedback about their experiences with the GMHA. Membership feedback is important as it will allow the GMHA to better understand the areas in which the organization can improve its service and the delivery of hockey to the Guelph-Wellington community.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, and anonymity will be maintained for all responses. All members who complete the survey by August 4th will be eligible to enter a draw for prize pack of apparel and equipment from All Team Sports. Please note that the survey is delivered in partnership with the International Institute for Sport Business and Leadership (IISBL) at the University of Guelph and is financially supported by the MITACS Business Strategy Internship Program.
