U10 AA Guelph Gryphons Win GOLD!!
The U10AA Guelph Gryphons won the Orangeville Fall Classic on the weekend going undefeated throughout the tournament.

Your U10AA Gryphons participated in the Orangeville Fall Classic tournament this weekend.  They started the tourney with an early game vs. Humber Valley Sharks.  Mason Lodder scored first with an assist coming from Selena Seminara. Colton Mitchell next with an unassisted goal making it 2-0 Guelph.  Humber valley came back with 2 goals tying it up 2-2.  Mason Laing came in strong to make it 3-2, with a goal assisted by Ethan LeBeau and Harrison Taylor.  Kingsley Videka was awesome between the pipes for the win!! Game 2 vs. TNT Tornadoes was a great win with a score of 5-2!  Ethan LeBeau had a hat trick, with Colton Mitchell and Defensemen Easton Curtis also getting goals.  Gavin Kerr made fantastic saves in net.  Next up was North Toronto.  Harrison Taylor opened the scoring with assists from Ethan LeBeau and Will Ervin.  Jackson Meagher followed that up with another goal with a beautiful pass from Ethan LeBeau and Hudson Ste-Croix making the score 2-1 Guelph.  Colton Mitchell finished it off with an unassisted goal making it 3-1.  Final score 3-2 Guelph.  Gavin Kerr had another win in goal.  The last game of the round robin had our Gryphons playing the Scarborough Young Bruins. Guelph’s Will Ervin starts the scoring with a shot from the point.  Harrison Taylor got Guelph’s next goal making the score 2-1 Guelph.  Blake Tami scored in the 3rd to seal the victory making the final 3-1 Guelph.  Kingsley Videka in net for the win! In the semi-final Guelph faced North Toronto again.  Harrison Taylor started the scoring with assists from Jackson Meagher and Jacob Seeley.  Mason Laing followed suit with another goal with the assist going to Selena Seminara. Guelph got another goal from our D with an unassisted goal from Emmett Curtis. Mason Laing got his second goal of the game with an assist from Blake Tami.  Jackson Meagher finished off the scoring making it 5-1 Guelph.  Kingsley Videka in net for the win!!  The Gold Medal Game had our Gryphons facing the tough Burlington Eagles.  Colton Mitchell started the scoring for Guelph with a breakaway goal.  In the second period the Gryphons got two quick goals with the first coming from Blake Tami with a nice pass from Mason Laing and Selene Seminara.  Ethan LeBeau scored Guelph’s 3rd goal on a nice individual effort for a final score of 3-0!  Gavin Kerr in net for the Gold Medal Win!!  Way to go Gryphs!  The Gryphons finished the tournament 6 - 0 behind exceptional goaltending, stout defence, and great teamwork from the forwards. This was truly a team effort. Way to go team, everyone contributed to these wins!
