The Guelph Minor Hockey Association (GMHA) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors for the upcoming season. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of our association. We are looking for passionate people who are committed to providing the best possible hockey experience for our youth.
Board members are volunteers who give their time, expertise, and energy to support the daily operation of GMHA and to continually improve the programs. The commitment includes participation in monthly board meetings, committee participation and program support.
There are currently up to 7 board member positions open for a three year term starting in September 2025.
The GMHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) that occurs annually has been scheduled for Tuesday September 23, 2025, at 7:00pm at which time the Members will be holding a vote. All applicants applying to join the GMHA board will have their name and details provided in the nomination form shared with the Members prior to the AGM to allow them to familiarize themselves with the nominees before voting occurs. Applicants will also have the opportunity to present themselves to the Members at the AGM.
You must provide two nominators to support your submission and both nominators must be GMHA Registered Participants (Athlete, Coach, Official, Volunteer or Parent/Guardian, as defined in the bylaws).
All applications received by Thursday September 18, 2025 will be presented to the Members at the AGM for the election of Directors.
