ATTENTION 2026-27 COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS - VALID VSC REQUIRED FOR PLAYER EVALUATIONS
All Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Volunteers who plan to be involved with Player Evaluations - require a valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and Criminal Declaration (CD) filed with the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF). The OHF online submission portal opens on April 1, 2026 for the 2026-27 hockey season.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE PLAYER EVALUATIONS?
Returning Coaches/Volunteers:
1 - Check your Spordle Account to confirm valid VSC (dated 2024 or 2025). For instructions on how to check click HERE
2 - With a valid VSC, complete CD form through the OHF online submission portal on April 1, 2026 when the portal opens for the 2026-27 season..
3 - Once you have completed the CD, please screen shot your Spordle account to confirm completion/approval and send to [email protected]
NOTE: If you have a VSC from 2023, it expires May 31, 2026. You need to obtain a NEW VSC and submit it through the OHF online submission portal, along with a new CD.
A new VSC can take up to 8-weeks to obtain, do not delay!
New Coaches/Volunteers with an HCR number:
1 - Obtain a VSC from your local law enforcement agency (Guelph Police Service for Guelph Residents). A VSC can take up to 8-weeks to obtain.
2 - Once you receive your VSC, submit your VSC through the OHF online submission portal along with a CD form. Your VSC and CD must be approved by OHF before you are permitted to take part in any association activity, including player evaluations.
3 - Please screen shot your Spordle account to confirm completion/approval of your VSC and CD and send to [email protected]
New Coaches/Volunteers WITHOUT an HCR number:

May 31, 2026 - Criminal Declarations for the 2025-26 season expire
The OHF will NOT be accepting any receipts for a VSC between April 1 and July 30 2026.
