Congratulations to all teams on a great season of hockey. Lets go support the final 4 teams on Saturday April 1st House league championship weekend. Championship game: Team 5 Orange vs Team 6 Blue West End rink 1, Sat Apr 1st, 430pm Consolation game:  Team 4 White vs Team 3 Grey West End rink 2, Sat Apr 1st, 445pm There will be lot of events happening during the weekend. Congratulations to the peewee house team 4 elite development hockey team who won the Acton PeeWee House League Tournament on February 3-5th weekend in Acton.

Congratulations to the Guelph Team 5 Orange Gryphons on winning the Walter Gretzky House League tournament this past weekend in Brantford Ontario. Team 5 went undefeated in the tournament beating North London in the finals 5-3.  Guelph was also represented by Team 1 Red and Team 6 Blue. Team 1 Red finished 1-2 in the round robin. Team 6 Blue finished first in their division but lost a heart breaker 2-1 in overtime in the quarter finals vs Thornton Tigers. The sessions that are scheduled at Royal City Ball Hockey for November 26th are in addition to our allotted ice times. GMHA thought it would be nice to give the players ball hockey during some times when their ice is not available.The sessions can be run however the coaches choose. Teams can play a game, practice positional play ect.; it is up to the teams coaching staff. If games our played between the teams it will not be counted towards the league standings. GMHA Picture Day will be held on Saturday, November 5th at the Evergreen Seniors Centre on Woolwich Street.  Players should bring their hockey gloves with stick and GMHA hockey sweater.
