2024-25 SEASON TRYOUTS

2024-25 Spring Tryout and Evaluations Information

Welcome to Guelph Minor Hockey Association (GMHA) Representative Team Tryouts!
For the 2024-2025 season, tryouts are split between Spring and Fall as follows:

U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, & U16 – Spring 2024 (April)

U18 AAA – Summer 2024 (August)

U18 AA & Below – Fall 2024 (September)

U8 ADP, U9 ADP – Fall 2024 (September)

ALL Select Tryouts - Fall 2024 (September)

More details will be provided for Fall Tryouts in the summer.

GMHA is excited to provide the following details:

2024-2025 Spring Tryouts for U10-U16 Rep.
U14 Body Checking Clinic for all current U13 GMHA Players entering into U14.
Pre-Tryout Skills Development Skates - SKATERS ONLY for players entering into U10, U11, U12, & U13.
Pre-Tryout Skills Development Skates - GOALIES ONLY for players entering into U10, U11, U12, & U13.

March 25th - Tryout Registration Opens

March 25th to April 2nd - Early Bird Pricing

April 2nd to 9th - Late Registration ($40 late fee will apply)

April 9th - Final Registration Deadline

AAA: April 20, 2024 - April 26, 2024
AA: April 27, 2024 - May 3, 2024
A: May 4, 2024 - May 10, 2024
B/BB: May 7, 2024 - May 14, 2024

U14, U15 & U16
AAA: April 22, 2024 - April 28, 2024
AA: April 29, 2024 - May 5, 2024
A: May 6, 2024 - May 12, 2024
B/BB: May 9, 2024 - May 16, 2024

Tryout Policy

GMHA policies governing the operation of the tryout process, player selection, and offering of positions.

U14 BODY CHECKING CLINIC DETAILS:

GMHA will be offering all current U13 GMHA Players a pre-tryout checking clinic. Although current 2023-24 GMHA players will incur no additional cost for these skates, registration is still required.

U10, U11, U12, U13 PRE-TRYOUT DEVELOPMENT SKATES:

These sessions will be run for the U10, U11, U12, & U13 age groups for the 2024-25 season. The corresponding birth years are 2012-2015. There are a limited number of spots available, so you will be able to register on a first come, first serve basis.
