Schedule & Results, Minor Atom, 2013-2014, U16 (Guelph Minor Hockey Association)

Tough loss for the Minor Atom Selects on Saturday afternoon, as the Waterloo Wolves poured it on in the third period to skate away with a victory in Guelph.  The Selects started strong, but could not sustain the pressure over the course of the game, allowing Waterloo to take over in the late going.  Jarret Coady and June McCormick were both outstanding between the pipes, stopping shot after shot from the swarming pack of Wolves.  The Minor Atom Select Gryphons are off to Detroit this coming weekend for a tournament.  We wish them luck in representing Guelph in the Detroit tournament and hope they enjoy the experience.
