The Guelph Gryphon Minor Atom Selects prevailed in an entertaining game at against Kitchener on Wednesday with the good guys winning 3-1. Nathan Stam opened the scoring for the Gryphons with a highlight real goal. Riley Broderick and Hayden Berwick also scored for the Gryphons.

The whole team played very well. The passing, back checking and hustle was far too much for Kitchener to handle. June McCormick and Jarret Coady shared net duties and each had their opportunities to make big saves, keeping the Gryphons in the game. The team really came together and showed that they didn't have any quit in them on this day. Great effort by all!
