The Guelph Gryphons continues to work through the early season growing pains as they welcome the 2nd place Oakville Rangers to the WERC tonight.  And for the first time in several games, it looks like we will have a full roster tonight as the Gryphons welcome back forwards Ostrander and Barras to the roster. 

Guelph came ready to play in this one.  Right from the first drop of the puck, the Gryphons were looking quick, poised and very much driving much of the play in the 1st period.  However, it was a different story in the 2nd. 

While Guelph and Orangeville already have 2 games against each other in the books, this will be the first regular season game between these two Centres. 6th place Guelph is looking for their 1st point on the season, while 5th place Orangeville sports a 0-1-1 record.  I suspect one of these two opponents will be celebrating their 1st win of the season.  

Our Gryphons were back on the ice to play in their 3rd regular season game of the year vs Oakville Rangers.  

Guelph travelled to Milton to take on the "White" version of the Winterhawks and while the Gryphons managed to stick with the division leading Winterhawks for the first 2 periods, for the 2nd straight game, the wheels seemed to fall off after the flood leading into the 3rd period.
