U15 Gryphons Select Family Skate
The U15 Gryphons Select Team took to the ice for a game against family on Sunday evening following their first bit of adversity this season with a loss to the very competitive Kitchener Rangers. Saturday's loss evened the season series at a game a piece and sets the stage for a potential game 3 tie breaker in the new year.
Sunday evening presented an opportunity to test parents and siblings in a game loaded with chirping and expectation but hobbled with marginal skill and limited endurance! Players, parents and siblings had a blast playing end-to-end pond hockey with questionable officiating and a lopsided scoreboard, a welcome relief before a week of practices prior to our first game of the season against Waterloo on Saturday evening.
Let's go Gryphons!!
