Tri-County Champions After Victory Over Flamborough Sabres

The Guelph Jr.
Gryphons U15 Advanced League team has emerged as the 2025 Tri-County Minor
Hockey League champions after an electrifying final against the Flamborough
Sabres on March 30, 2025. The championship game saw the Gryphons deliver
a spectacular performance, securing the title.
The Gryphons entered
the playoffs as the top seed, finishing the regular season with an incredible 17-1-0
record. Their dominance was evident throughout the campaign, as they
consistently outpaced their opponents with a combination of speed, skill, and
teamwork.
The team entered the playoff
run overcoming competition from Brampton 45s (7-0 win), Orangeville Flyers (5-0
Win), Halton Hills Thunder (3-2 Win), and the Flamborough Sabres (9-2 win),
leading into the finals.
Going into the championship
game, the team’s league record was a dominant 21-1-0. From the puck drop to the final whistle the
U15AL dominated the play to a final score of 9-1.
With this championship win, the Gryphons have solidified their
reputation as one of the premier teams in the Tri-County AL league. Many of
these players will be looking forward to further development in the next stage
of their hockey careers.
