U8 Red, U8/U9 (Guelph Minor Hockey Association)

Our team marked back-to-back games this weekend by hosting the Brampton 45's on our home ice at the U of G and heading to Orangeville to play the Flyers. Both teams made were awesome opponents and pushed our players to perform their best! Over the past few weeks our coaching team noticed growth and development from each player and more importantly, how we play as a team. Keep up the great work Red Team, we're so proud of you!

On December 6th & 7th, our team was excited to play in our first tournament as part of the Friendship Jamboree in East Gwillimbury. The team played a series of three games over two days against some great competitors. Our players and their families also bonded with some off-ice fun in the surrounding area. Great job Red Team! Get ready for our next tournament in Niagara Falls in January!!!

GMHA is currently open to applications for the position of Head Coach for the 2025-2026 Rep season, which includes AAA, AA, A, & BB/B teams. The application deadlines are as follows:

Today we welcomed New Hamburg on our home ice at U of G. It was a tough game that pushed our entire team. Great job, Red! Round 2 tomorrow, you've got this! Go, Red, Go!!!

On Saturday, October 26th we welcomed the Hespler Shamrocks on our home ice at the University of Guelph. This was a friendly exhibition game between two great teams and we're excited to meet them again in our regular season.

On Sunday, October 20th, our team played its debut game in an exhibition against the Flamborough Sabres on their home ice. Both teams were well matched and played a hard game. Our incredible team of stars shone brightly! Great job team! See you next week at our exhibition game against Hespler Shamrocks at U of G.  Have a great week!
