My coaching philosophy is built on three core pillars: player development, team success, and a high-performance mindset.

David Jarram is a former professional hockey player with experience in the AHL, having played for the Rochester Americans and attending NHL camps with the Detroit Red Wings and Florida Panthers. His junior career saw him compete in the OHL with the London Knights and Ottawa 67’s, learning under esteemed coaches Brian Kilrea and Dale & Mark Hunter, among others.

Jarram is actively involved with the OHL and their development staff. His role has him coaching with the OHL Development Program that takes place in the off season in Kitchener, Oakville, Oshawa, and Ottawa. The program focuses on developing AAA players from U14-U18 as they work toward OHL and NCAA opportunities. Jarram aims to bring his spirit of development to Guelph and understands what constitutes a solid prospect and looks forward to developing those skills with his team.

Jarram is committed to establishing a structured, high-expectation program that challenges every player to excel individually and as a teammate, laying the foundation for team success. His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, strong team dynamics, and a high-performance mentality. Known for his active, hands-on approach, Jarram fosters a competitive yet supportive environment where players are pushed to reach their full potential. With deep expertise in team-building and player growth, he is committed to shaping a cohesive, high-performing squad ready to make a strong impact in the OMHA.

Off the ice, Jarram is a business owner in the construction and real estate development industry, where he applies strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership daily. These same skills; adaptability under pressure, team management, and long-term planning, shape his approach to coaching and building a successful team. Jarram looks forward to bringing these attributes to the rink, fostering a well structured team environment where every player receives the guidance and support needed to excel. GMHA is excited to have Coach Jarram lead the 2025/26 U13 AAA program.
