Welcome to Guelph Minor Hockey Association (GMHA) Representative Team Player Evaluations!

PLAYER EVALUATIONS FOR SPRING AND FALL
For the 2025-2026 season, Player Evaluations are split between Spring and Fall as follows:

SPRING

U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 (AAA, AA, A, B/BB), & U18 (AAA, AA) – Spring 2025 (April)

U8 ADP, U9 ADP – Spring 2025 (April)

Advanced League (AL) U12, U13, U14, U15, & U16  – Spring 2025 (April)

FALL

U18 A, & BB – Fall 2025 (September)
U7 ADP – Fall 2025 (September)

Advanced League U10/11 – Fall 2025 (September)

Below you will find the following details:

- 2025-2026 Spring Player Evaluations for U10-U16 AAA, AA, A, B/BB Rep.
- 2025-2026 Spring Player Evaluations for U18 AAA, AA Rep.
- 2025-2026 Spring Player Evaluations for U8-U9 ADP.
- 2025-2026 Spring Player Evaluations for U12-U16 Advanced League.
- U14 Body Checking Clinic for all current U13 GMHA Players entering into U14.

PLAYER EVALUATIONS DETAILS:

REGISTRATION TIMELINE
April 2nd - Player Evaluation Passes Registration Opens
There will be no deadline to register for each level.

REGISTRATION COST
PRICE: $60 per level

• A separate $60 Player Evaluation pass is required for purchase at each level (AAA, AA, A, B/BB, AL). For example, if your player is currently a "A" level player but wishes to attend Player Evaluations for "AA", first purchase a "AA" Player Evaluation pass. If your player is released, you can then purchase a "A" Player Evaluation pass. Please note that if you purchase both passes simultaneously and your player is selected for "AA", the "A" pass will not be refunded.
• If your player is released during Player Evaluations, you can immediately purchase the next level Player Evaluations pass.
• All Player Evaluation Pass purchases are non-refundable, regardless of selection outcome, release, or attendance. By purchasing a Player Evaluation Pass, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued for any reason.

REGISTRATION BY LEVEL

Guelph Minor Hockey operates as a AAA Zone, as well as a AA Base Centre. Therefore, there are specific registration links for different levels. If you wish to attend Player Evaluations for AAA and another level, you will need to follow both links and complete your registration separately.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE

April 2nd - Player Evaluation Passes Registration Opens

PRICE: $120 

• For ADP Evaluations, players will purchase one pass that gives them access to the entire Player Evaluation Process. No other purchase is required.
• All Player Evaluation Pass purchases are non-refundable, regardless of selection outcome, release, or attendance. By purchasing a Player Evaluation Pass, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued for any reason.

REGISTRATION

Players are required to purchase one pass, and will go through a sequential release process. All players will start at the highest level team and, if not selected, will be released to the next level team:

PLAYER SELECTION

NEW TO THIS YEAR - If your player is offered a spot on one of these teams after they have attended Player Evaluations, you will be provided a PRIVATE link to register for the season. To accept this offer, you must complete your registration and registration payment* with Guelph Minor Hockey. Do NOT share the link. Do NOT use it for sibling registrations. We are obligated to remove these registrations if they occur.  

*The registration fee is a mandatory payment that all players must submit to the Guelph Minor Hockey Association (GMHA) to participate in GMHA programming. This applies to players in Rep, ADP, AL, and House League. For players in Rep, ADP, and AL, the registration fee must be paid once you have been confirmed to a GMHA team to secure your spot. This fee is separate from your overall team fees for the season. The fee is applied to the overall team fee as an offset before team invoices are issued.

As per GMHA Player Evaluation Policy the following roster restrictions for non Guelph players will be applied for the 2025-26 season:
U9 MD 1 (GOLD) - The team is permitted to roster up to six (6) non-Guelph Home Centre players.
U9 MD 2 (BLACK) - The team is permitted to roster up to three (3) non-Guelph Home Centre players.
U9 MD 3 (RED) - The team is not permitted to roster any non-Guelph Home Centre players.
U8 MD 1 (BLACK) - The team is permitted to roster up to three (3) non-Guelph Home Centre players.
U8 MD 2 (RED) - The team is not permitted to roster any non-Guelph Home Centre players.
 
Guelph Home Centre players are considered players that reside within the Guelph boundaries (Guelph, Rockwood, Ariss, Puslinch, and any other surrounding area that may have previously held a Right of Choice).

Player Evaluation Policy

GMHA policies governing the operation of the tryout process, player selection, and offering of positions.

U14 BODY CHECKING CLINIC DETAILS:

GMHA will be offering all current U13 GMHA Players a pre-tryout checking clinic. Although current 2024-25 GMHA players will incur no additional cost for these skates, registration is still required.

Information has been emailed to families directly. 

GMHA AAA NON-PARENT COACH HONOURARIUM

Please note that GMHA has extended its non-parent coach honorarium for coaches at the AAA level to include coaches at the AAA level from U10-U18 as well as U18 AA. These coaches will receive an honorarium in the rang of $10,000 - $25,000. This information will be updated within the GMHA Rep Manual.
