UPDATE - HOUSE LEAGUE, SD1, 2, & 3, and SKATING SCHOOL
Below is an update on each program. Currently, we are working to provide a communication for each. In the meantime, please see below based on your child's program enrollment for the latest status update.

HOUSE LEAGUE (U9 - U18)

Start Date:
October 17th (October 19th for U18)

Program:
On average one game & one practice per week (one game per week for U18)

Games:
Games will be modified to a 4 on 4 OR 3 on 3 format. Younger age groups will play half or cross ice.

Cohorts:
 Cohorts will consist of roughly 8-10 players and 1 goalie

Schedule (U9-U13):
 Games and practices will predominately be on weekends. These age groups will have 8 practices and 8 games spread over the 10 weeks of sessions.

Schedule (U14-U16): Games and practices will predominately be on weekends. These age groups will have 6 practices and 10 games spread over the 10 weeks of sessions.

Schedule (U18): There will be no practices. Games will occur in evenings (Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays). This age group will have 14 games spread over the 10 weeks of sessions.

Status Update: Convenors will be receiving the participant list and will be reaching out to notify you what team your child will be on in 1-2 weeks.

A communication will be sent out on Monday, October 5th with this information via email early next week. If you do not receive the email, you are either not registered or have an incorrect email attached to your Hockey Canada Profile.


SKILLS DEVELOPMENT 1, 2, & 3 (U7-U8)

Start Date:
 October 3rd. (Please note: No sessions on October 10th or 11th)

Program:
 On average two sessions per week (games start at a later date depending on which program you are enrolled in)

Games:
 Games will be modified to a half ice or cross ice, 4 on 4 or 3 on 3 format

Cohorts:
 Cohorts will consist of roughly 8-12 players

Schedule (SD1 & 2):
 All sessions will occur on Saturdays & Sundays. Sessions will alternate between Centennial Arena & The Zone Training Centre
SD1 - Schedule

Schedule (SD3): All sessions will occur on Saturdays & Sundays. Sessions will be held at Centennial Arena
SD3 - Schedule


Status Update: Parents would have received a communication earlier in the week regarding numerous details on the SD program and things getting up and running this weekend. You should have been notified by your Convenor as to what time you will be on the ice and your current team for this weekend's schedule. After this weekend, you will be notified of your permanent team moving forward for the first segment of this season

SKATING SCHOOL

Start Date: October 17th

Program:
 Sessions run Saturday mornings in three different time slots: 7AM, 8AM, & 9AM

Schedule:
 All sessions will occur on Saturday mornings at UofG on the Red rink
Skating School - Schedule

A communication will be sent out on Monday, October 5th with this information via email. If you do not receive the email, you are either not registered or have an incorrect email attached to your Hockey Canada Profile.

Status Update: A communication was sent out a few weeks ago informing families of the start date being pushed back. The communication coming out on Monday will outline further details, and you will be contacted at a later date by Inside Edge, which is the Skating School that runs the GMHA Skating School program.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we have been working hard to ensure we have everything in place for your kids to be on the ice this season. Although this is not all perfect, we have tried our best to have the programming in place along with all the health and safety protocols.
