Home Debut
Submitted By Matthew St. Jean on Friday, November 7, 2014
After starting the season with three straight road games, the Guelph Atom Select Gryphons finally made their much anticipated home debut, and they did not disappoint their fans! The home side came out flying, controlling much of the play for the first period. The Gryphons showed tremendous teamwork cycling the puck, activating the D with smart passes and working give-and-go passing plays, resulting in every player on the team finding their way on the score sheet. The Gryphons did see their nine-and-a-half period shutout streak snapped in the win, but saw it as an opportunity to start a new streak. Let’s keep this momentum as we prepare for our next game vs. the Waterloo Wolves. Go Gryphs!
