Novice AA Fall To Flyers in Nailbiter
The Novice AA Gryphons gave one of their best efforts of the year but were on the wrong end of a 2-1 score against the 1st place Niagara Falls Flyers on Sunday afternoon at Victoria Arena.

Guelph came out and controlled the play right from the opening faceoff and their hard work resulted in the opening goal of the game at 9:11 of the first period. Tanner Bothwell's hard work along the boards resulted in a turnover in mid ice that was scooped up by Nathan Briggs who got the puck up to Koen Smith.  Smith broke thru the Niagara Falls defence and a nifty deke left the goalie helpless as Smith deposited the puck in the back of the net.

The game remained 1-0 in favour of Guelph thru the end of the second period.  Fourteen seconds into the third, Niagara Falls scored on the power play to tie up the game.  Then, with 7:13 remaining,  A Niagara wrist shot found the net for the game winner.

The Gryphs return to action this Thursday when they travel to Milton.

Brown Trout Publishers
Our goal has always been to connect people to their passions. The calendar is a unique printed product that serves both a practical and a decorative function; for this reason, it will never go out of style—but it changes and evolves, and we at BrownTrout want to lead this evolution through innovative designs and concepts. Over the past decade, we have been lucky enough to forge relationships with many of the biggest brands in licensing. These relationships are represented here in the many calendars we do on musical artists and movie stars, fine and decorative arts, automobiles, and other commercial brands. Wherever we find passion, we search for a means to express it and connect with those who share it. In recent years, BrownTrout Canada has merged with Wyman Publishing, and established partnerships with many of the world’s best calendar publishers, whose calendars are also represented in our catalogues. We strive to offer the best calendars available to our retailers and to be the best partners we can to our fellow publishers. Our extensive product line of almost 1000 calendars, experienced sales team, leading edge distribution capabilities, the ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in the market and an offering of thoughtful merchandising solutions, allows us to sell the titles and create programs we truly think are best for our retailers. Quinton Steel
Rick Gajewski arrived in Canada on June 22, 1965, with his technical background and twenty years experience in the fabrication trade in England as a boilermaker plater. After four years in Canada as the plant superintendent at Warner Swasey, he founded Quinton Steel (Wellington) Limited in 1968. The phrase J.I.T. manufacturing was not commonly used when Rick Gajewski started to buy all the steel for jobs cut to size for work in progress. Most of Quinton Steel's competitors were carrying large inventories and cutting their own steel to size. As the company grew, Quinton Steel's buying power increased, keeping the company's prices competitive in the growing market. In 1974, Quinton Steel moved into its current facility, a plant designed by Rick Gajewski, for the sole purpose of manufacturing large steel fabrications. In 1978, Rick's son, Stefan, joined Quinton Steel working in the plant. Using his engineering background from the University of Western Ontario and attending technical college, he learned every aspect of the trade. After 12 years of experience in the plant, Stefan moved into a management position and is currently President of the company. In 1995, the existing plant was doubled in size to accommodate the market requirements for larger sized fabrications. All the while, we maintained our focus on providing the best in quality, price and delivery. In the past five years, our work has expanded from press and machine bases into gears, gear reducers, offshore drilling equipment, mining equipment and a wide variety of other custom fabrications, including innovative prototypes. Quinton Steel built its reputation on competitive PRICE, QUALITY and DELIVERY. These are the cornerstones of our company and have ensured our continued growth.
