The Atom Select Gryphons hosted the Kitchener
Rangers on Tuesday night at Centennial Arena and the Rangers did not play the
role of the polite guests. The Rangers
struck early and often with the final score being 10-0 in favor of the
Kitchener team. While the home team
never gave up and worked hard, the visiting Rangers used their size, speed and
skill to defeat the Gryphons. The Rangers battled hard for the majority of the
pucks and capitalized on their chances, despite several great saves from the
Gryphon netminders Eyers and Kurt. The Gryphons look forward to a rematch in the
new year.
Our last game before the Christmas break is this Saturday in Waterloo, where the Gryphons will face off against the Wolves, in an effort to bounce back and head off into the holidays on a high note.
