A, 2024-2025, U15 (Guelph Minor Hockey Association)

We are very excited to be going to the Silver Stick Finals in Port Huron, Michigan in late January.  Top teams from across Ontario as well as U.S. teams from Philadelphia, Alabama, Nebraska and Michigan will be competing. We qualified for the SS Finals after placing second at the Collingwood Silver Stick Qualifier in November. After beating the host Collingwood team in the semifinals in an exciting 4-3 game, we lost in the Finals 3-2 in overtime to Centre Wellington. Way to go team! Our U15A team skated to a hard fought 3-1 victory over the host Cumberland Jr Grads team in the Capital Volunteer Cup finals last Sunday (Oct 27).  The game was scoreless until Esa Hazl (assisted by Eric Wellhauser and Will Hillen) finally solved the Grads' goaltender at 1:58 into the second period.  Unfortunately, Cumberland struck back quickly to tie the game.
