A, 2024-2025, U10 (Guelph Minor Hockey Association)

The U10A Gryphons are at it again. During the month of March we will be collecting gently used shoes to be donated to soles4souls.    Soles4souls Canada collects gently used shoes that helps women and families that are less fortunate, start micro businesses that let there familes earn money to send there kids to school, put shelter over there heads, and provide food for themselves so that they can stay healthier.  This initiative is very near and dear to a sponsor of ours who is also a parent on the team. We are excited to help.   The drive will run from March 3-March 21

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Elgin Ackroyd has won the OMHA “Why I Love Hockey” essay contest, beating out over 300 applicants! His essay beautifully highlighted his love for the game and, most notably, his appreciation for all his teammates. As part of the prize, OMHA came to film Elgin. Elgin asked for the rest of the team to be part of the experience with him. It was such a great opportunity to be involved in something special. 🏒The U10A Guelph Gryphons are hitting the ice—and the streets—for a great cause! As they gear up for playoffs, the team is showing their commitment to the community by participating in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk on February 22 in support of Hope House. ❤️  Let’s rally behind these amazing young athletes and help them make a difference! The U10A boys are participating in the Adopt A Family - Toy Drive for this Holiday Season. On Wednesday Nov 27 all items were collected and will be dropped off. The amount of donations the boys were able to collect is astonishing,  and we are hoping will help more then a few families this holiday season. Way to go Boys you never seize to amaze, you are the prime example of what a Guelph Minor Hockey Team is all about. Teamwork makes the Dream work!!
