Six years ago Diane’s father, Keith Slater, was diagnosed with ALS and given 6 months to live. Her father’s determination to continue living and to refuse to let his diagnosis cause him to give up hope was a large part of Diane and Robert’s decision to enter into the home health field. Originally located in Kitchener, they moved the business home to Guelph in June of 2012, when they moved in with Diane’s parents in order to keep Keith, now in a power wheelchair and breathing with the help of a ventilator, living at home. We understand from a customer’s point of view the challenges for people and their families trying to lead their lives while managing a disability, and we’re here to help you help yourselves. Westmount Animal Hospital Supports the community Farley Foundation Westmount Animal Hospital annually raises funds for the Farley foundation. The Farley foundation is a non-profit organization run by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. It helps disabled and senior pet owners on limited incomes to pay for medical and surgical care for their pets. Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society Cambridge Humane society Kitchener-Waterloo pet food drive Westmount animal hospital actively supports The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Not only do we donate food to this great cause but we also serve as a depot so that clients may drop off pet food for those in need. We then arrange delivery of the food to the pet food ban warehouse where it is then disseminated to those who are in need. Adopt a family Every Christmas Holiday season Westmount Animal Hospital adopts a family in need. We provide this family with food, toys, and clothes for the holiday season. Golden Rescue Westmount Animal Hospital is a proud member of Golden Rescue Society helping Golden Retrievers in need. Other Westmount Animal Hospital also contributes to local organizations in need we sponsor the Annual New Dundee Fireworks display. In the past we have sponsored Ayr Minor Soccer and the Kitchener Minor Girls Softball Klassic U14 softball team. We are proud this year to sponsor the Guelph Gryphons Tyke B rep hockey team! ×

Our 34,000 square foot facility is equipped to handle the largest and heaviest of projects, with over 250,000 lbs of available lift. Since our incorporation, Quinton Steel has specialized in building a large variety of custom heavy steel fabrications including large split gears, eccentric gears, intermediate gears and gearboxes, as well as complete main fabrications for mechanical and hydraulic presses, rolling bolsters and die transfer frames. We are also servicing the mining and offshore oil drilling industries, fabricating winch and hoist drums, drilling platforms, motor mounts, drawworks, and other equipment. Quinton Steel We have the buying power to ensure competitive pricing on all of the steel we purchase. Today we are the largest customer in Ontario to two major steel buyers. This ensures we get the best pricing available and preferential deliveries when needed. We have undertaken the fabrication of several ambitious prototypes, using our extensive welding experience to collaborate closely with design engineers, finding innovative ways to reduce costs and improve quality. We currently employ fifty people on two shifts.×
